Colorectal Cancer Canada (CCC) is a non-profit patient organization dedicated to colorectal cancer awareness and education, supporting patients and their families and advocating on their behalf. CCC takes a creative and innovative approach in achieving its mission as evidenced in their colorectal cancer awareness program endangeredbutts.ca and their promotion of prevention through provincial and territorial screening programs such as The Giant Colon Tour and the Foods That Fight Cancer program.

Location: Montreal or Toronto

Job description

This is a rare opportunity to join a successful and growing charity as its first ever Director of Development and use your leadership skills and fundraising experience to shape the future of what fund development will look like for Colorectal Cancer Canada.

The new Director of Development will be responsible both strategically and operationally for creating, implementing, managing and evaluating a fully integrated fund development program that builds CCC’s donor base, increases revenue and enhances the organization’s long-term sustainability.

With a proven track record of at least five years fundraising experience, you will bring an entrepreneurial spirit and appreciation for the value of collaboration – knowing how and when to engage colleagues to work as a team towards a common goal. Above all, you understand and appreciate CCC’s mission and will be able to articulate its values and vision passionately to internal and external stakeholders.

Salary Range: $95,000 to $105,000 plus benefits
